Our company represents a rail tie wood chip producer in the USA. They can provide over 20,000 tons per month of rail tie wood chips for power plants etc.
The chips are roughly 3 inches in size but can be made smaller. The company is FSC certified. The price is $40USD per ton FOB (lower if purchased in quantity and on a long term basis).
If the power plant is in the USA he is willing to build a chipping facility right at their plant so long as they have a rail spur, buy a minimum of 150,000 tons per year and sign a minimum 5 year contract.
