Bioconversion
Extracting value from resources by converting organic wastes into protein.
In a process known as bioconversion, insect grubs are used to rapidly decompose organic wastes including animal manure. As the insect larva feed on the organic wastes they grow and become rich in fats & proteins.
The grubs may be harvested and dehydrated to produce oil and Fortified Ingredients, a meal that may be used as poultry or animal feed or aqua culture fish food.

Fortified Ingredients
Waste streams such as dairy waste, slaughter house & meat packing waste, poultry waste, and fish processing waste may be rendered and processed into ingredients to be used to fortify animal feed like MBM (meat and bone meal), Blood, Feather & Leather Meals and additives such as Recovered Calcium Powders are all ByProducts used as Animal Feed Supplements.

Fats & Greases
Animal fats, greases and Tallow may be converted into everyday products like cooking oil, soap, healing salve & skin balm, laundry detergent, candles, margarine, and lubricant for wood, leather and metal working industries.
Common industry references for Fats, Oils & Greases use the acronym as FOG. Low grade FOGs may be sourced from skimmings generated as a by-product from municipal waste water treatment facilities.

Used Vegetable Oil
If you wish to recycle Used Vegetable Oil please ADD your inquiry to the UVO exchange. The exchange service provides a direct connection between waste oil generators, collectors and consumers of Used Vegetable Oils (UVO).

UVO is produced as a by-product of restaurants, kitchens and commercial cooking operations. The waste cooking oils, some times referred to as either Used Cooking Oil (UCO) or Used Vegetable Oils (UVO,) are collected and may then be rendered or used as a raw feedstock to produce BioDiesel.
